Also, the headstock is bound in Maple instead of the usual white celluloid - a nice touch! Colorful Fleur de lis fretboard inlays "45" style appointments i.e. Abalone top trim, rosette, back center strip, tail wedge outline as well as fretboard extention Also fine abalone side purflings next to the maple bindings, and Back purflings STU - UU -UNNING ! Huge, I mean HUGE orchestral tone. Near mint condition with original hard shell case Many small shop luthiers will not build a "45 style" guitar these days, as the intricate inlays are very time intensive. These purflings were all done "by hand" This is a rare opportunity to own a super fine, handmade, 45 style guitar with Brazilian rosewood back & sides, no less. |
