  • Laminated back bracing
  • Carbon fibre reinforced top bracing
  • Bone nut, saddle and bridge pins (with paua dots)
  • Mother of Pearl headstock logo
  • Gold Gotoh open back tuning machines with Ebony buttons
  • The finish on this guitar is in keeping with the rustic look that the torrefication process gives the guitar
  • Bob did not buff it all the way up to high gloss, but it is a slick semi-satin finish, similar to what we find on Lowden guitars
  • It makes for a great feel and super fast neck
  • The guitar has, essentially, been pre-maturely aged by the torrefication, and this is reflected in the tone
  • It is MASSIVE, and sounds like a vintage guitar right out of the box
  • Dry, I'm telling ya, Dry as a bag of bones!
  • WHAT IS TORREFIED WOOD?

Eco-friendly and 100% natural, it contains no chemical product.

The secret of the beauty of torrefied wood is of course the torrefaction treatment itself. This technique involves heating the wood at very high temperatures in a customized dryer room. Practically free of moisture, the wood then becomes more stable, more durable and resistant to deterioration. It is also insect resistant!

At the end of the heating process, the boards have a rich, golden color.

Torrefied wood is a great alternative to exotic wood.

And it sounds pretty darn AMAZING !!

New guitars sound like vintage instruments.
