Customer Testimonials

I bought my Goodall Royal Hawaiian from you last year.  The guitar was packed perfectly and shipped and received without issue.  I have been playing the Goodall and my Olson SJ side by side for almost one year with amazement.  I recently install a K and K mini in both guitars without any loss of tone.  The Goodall keeps delivering wonderful dripping tone to die for.  Thanks for all of your help and great service.

Good morning Robin,

I wanted to let you know that If you want this Beneteau “0” 12 back, I’m afraid you’re going to have to fly up here to Maryland and pry it from my hands.

It’s just beautiful in every way. The photos on your website do a good job of portraying the guitar, but it’s rather significantly different in person, and in a very nice way. The top looks a lot darker with a very warm appeal. The transition in color between the top/purfling/binding/sides/back is more understated, which I really like, as I wasn’t sure if it might be a little too dramatic based on the photos. The perfectly bookmatched figure and ruddy color of the Sapele, glowing warmth and fine grain of the cedar, and ebony appointments all go together to remind me of a big piece of chewy caramel. I sort of want to eat it.

But, the sound is what makes it a real keeper. Wow, what a “pretty” sounding guitar! That is what strikes me the most. It’s just so soft, delicate, smooth and round when picked gently, but with a surprisingly wide dynamic range when struck harder. I’m enjoying barely plucking a string, and hearing it ring with this velvet-like sonorous quality. You can almost breath on it and get a response. A beautiful midrange sound, but with just the right amount of treble and bass to provide a balance that suits it perfectly. It’s also a very nice strummer, with a generous amount of headroom; a bonus for its flexibility. It’s the kind of guitar that makes me want to brew some hot chocolate, sit next to the fireplace and meditate on its voice.

I was able to pick up the DS on Friday afternoon. I must say, the quality of the instrument far exceeded my expectations. I want to let you know that I truly appreciate your assistance throughout this whole process. From choosing the wood to deciding on the inlay, your advice was invaluable. (The inlay is far more impressive “in person” than it was in the photo – it changes color in different light, its really beautiful.

Oh yeah, the guitar sounds great as well. Thanks again!

The acoustic just got here. It is just what I wanted. It has a built-in pickup which is awesome so i can record it onto my computer. The built-in tuner on the pickup is awesome too because I don't have to worry about trying to remember my tuner everywhere I go. So I am still waiting on the bass which i think should be here tomorrow if you shipped it on the date that was emailed to me. Things get here pretty fast which is good.

Today I started learning how to play and I think I am picking it up really fast. I think my 19 years of piano are very helpful ha ha. Today everyone who had a guitar got theirs out and started to play together and the whole unit was sitting around watching and some were even using skype to show there wives.

The gift of music does truly raise the spirits around here. I don't know how to thank you enough. Tomorrow we are doing a company photo so I will get a picture with the guitars in it, so you can post it on the web. Again thank you so much for everything. You are great people. God Bless you all!!!!!

Robin, I just wanted to thank you for your kind courtesy and professionalism in the sale of my two guitars.

I will be making certain my friends are aware of your site.

The guitar just came in.  I wanted to thank you again for everything.  My wife had nothing but great things to say about you in the way that you handled everything.  I’ve never had a more satisfying buying experience than I had with you.  It was the perfect blend of professionalism, knowledge, personal care and outstanding and prompt service.  I’ll be throwing your name to anybody I know that is in the market for a new guitar.  Thanks again!

Hello to the wonderful people at Guitar Gallery:

I just recently returned from FOB Sharana Afghanistan.
I learned about your Guitar 4 Troops back in Dec of 2009.
I spend many a wednesday evening jamming with Komi and the rest of the guitar team!  It was a wonderful change of pace!
I know many of the people in the photos!
While deployed over there I was able to get back to playing a guitar and improve my skills.
It was a great help to have a loner guitar available thanks to the wonderful donation made by people for this program and of course your organizations donations and great work.
Having some playing time really help to take my mind off of being deployed and being away from my wife and three kids.
I was able to meet some great people who all loved playing guitars and really helped me to improve my skills.

This program is making a difference over there.  I know it did for me.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
