Doerr Guitar: Solace Cutaway

New Doerr Solace Select

Chocolately African Blackwood back & sides.

German spruce top.

Sharp cutaway.

Beveled Ebony bindings.

Part of Tom's philosophy is that every one of his guitars should be "Signature grade."

There are details on this guitar that you just do not find in the guitar world, without a significant upcharge.

These details are standard on Tom Doerr guitars.

Like the Crescent channel in the back of the headstock;

And the Bevelled bindings;

And the fretboard markers that curve from the Ebony fretboard face to the side of the fretboard;

And the bevelled fretboard termination;

And the Stainless Steel frets;

And the Brazilian Rosewood bridge, bound in Ebony;

And the Ebony bridge pins with Brazilian rosewood dots.

This guitar also features Tom's lattice bracing.

Also it has a multi-layered neck, the majority of which is Mahogany.

The fretboard inlays are Brazilian Rosewood, outlined in Mother-of-Pearl.

Book-matched Brazilian Rosewood headstock faceplate & backplate.

Gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines with Ebonoid buttons.

Wonderfully detailed multi-ring Brazilian Rosewood rosette.

Brazilian Rosewood top trim with delicate Maple purflings adjacent.

These same purflings detail the end wedge and sides.

This guitar is unlike any other in the shop, the top is SO Alive!

Wonderful, bell-like tone.

Custom Cedar Creek case included.
