Greenfield Archtop - Custom Vanguard

Description: Greenfield Vanguard Archtop: Used, 2004. Near Mint condition. Here we have a world-class archtop from one of the world's premier luthiers. The first thing you will notice is the mesmerizing and equally stunning Mango/Scarlet Cherry full body burst. Next you'll encounter the master grade Alpine spruce top as well as AAAAA curly European Sycamore(Maple) back and sides. We have to mention that this top was taken from an old billet of Cello wood! The back & sides are hand carved and graduated. Then you'll be delighted by the Fantastically Flamed Koa body bindings with contrasting, mitered wooden purflings. More appointments include a compound radius ebony fingerboard, bound with ebony and pinstripe purflings; Adjustable Macassar Ebony bridge; Solid Macassar Ebony and graphite hinged tailpiece. Solid Macassar Ebony finger rest. Hide-a-way fingertip volume & tone controls. Custom wound Kent Armstrong floating Alnico 3 Humbucking pickup, with 12 adjustable pole pieces. Bone 1 3/4" nut. Waverly tuning machines with Ebony buttons. Ebony peghead faceplate with MOP logo. Beautiful curly Maple headstock backplate. Handcarved laminated Maple, carbon graphite reinforced neck that is extremely true and stable, as well as energy efficient (eliminating dead spots) and virtually unbreakable. The lower bout is 17"; the upper is 12 3/4"; and the body is 3 1/8" at the tail. This guitar abides in a custom made Calton flight case. These mp3's are played through a Peavey Bass amp
