History:

• The guitar was built by Nigel Forster when he worked for Stefan Sobell for 11 years.  Stefan and Nigel jointly built the Sobell guitars during Nigel’s time with Stefan.
•  Nigel originally built this guitar for himself but then decided to sell it to a customer. 
• Nigel built the guitar as a standard Model O except for a few unique items:  Nigel used a bracing pattern similar to the original Martin Simpson Guitars; Nigel pioneered a new (better) neck joint on this guitar that he and Stefan now use on all guitars; and Nigel picked out a special piece of spruce for the top with some very nice dark streaks and a distinctive bear claw.

An interesting feature, is --

at the widest part of the lower bout, the guitar is 3 10/32" deep, BUT

at the tail, it is 4 10/32" deep.
