Used D Angelico Archtop

D'Angelico New Yorker NYL-2: Used, Excellent Condition.

This is a faithful reproduction of the venerable D'Angelico NYL-2 archtop.

Under license from the D'Angelico family, some of the most popular models were reissued with extreme attention to the original details.

This guitar was made in Japan (Vestax) by craftsman known for their excellence.

This beauty has a full 17" lower bout and is 3" deep. Gorgeous Vintage Natural finish.

Single cutaway, Floating humbucking pickup.

It feels good in the hands and sounds amazing plugged in -- fat and warm.

It has highly figured Maple back and sides and a pressed German spruce top.

Ebony fretboard with MOP split block inlays. Ebony bridge with MOP inlay and carved, adjustable Ebony saddle.

Classic New Yorker style engraved, stairstep tailpiece.

One volume, One tone control mounted on the Art Deco pickguard.

Bound f holes. The body, fretboard and headstock are triple bound.

2-piece Maple neck.

Gold Grover Rotomatic sealed back tuners with Imperial keys.

Chrysler Building truss rod cover, and engraved Chrysler Building headstock logo in mother-of-pearl above that.

MOP headstock script logo on an ebony faceplate.

The headstock backplate is rosewood and another MOP diamond inlay abides there.

Original plush hard shell case included.

We've had several of these come through the shop used, and this is by far the best sounding one so far !

These mp3's were played through a Peavy Bass amp.
