MOLL INSTRUMENTS

Some Background:
Bill Moll has been building, repairing, and restoring instruments for over 30 years. We'll let him speak for himself here...in his own words.
Our craft lies at the intersection of creativity, and a specific application of acoustical physics. An intuitive mixture
of art, science, and ingenuity that creates visual, as well as audible music. I believe that an instrument should be built to perform at a
superior level acoustically, before any electronics are considered, and we individually build each of our instruments with
that objective. My years in the violin business gave me a singularly unique perspective in this area of acoustics, and I apply
many violin making techniques to the building of fine archtop guitars.

Previously Sold
Moll Working Man's Hero Archtop: Machining technology, with a strong dose of hand detailing and assembly, to produce a fully American made guitar with uncompromising quality, at an astoundingly affordable price.
The 17" body is built using the same, superior quality, laminated plates and solid ribs you've come to expect from Moll Instruments, and includes a premium quality
Kent Armstrong Humbucker with volume control. "The Hero" features a solid ebony fingerboard, finger rest, pickup ring, bridge, and tailpiece and, is bound
in matching black along the top and back. 1 3/4" nut width..... That however, is where the similarity to other Moll models ends...
The 2 piece Mahogany neck is actually a bolt-in design, which not only offers the structural integrity of a fine joint, but makes
further adjustability possible as well. Heck, you could conceivably have extra, interchangeable, necks if you chose to...! One six string... One seven... And from the outside, the
joint looks exactly like the traditional, glued-in dovetail!
This type of neck joint has practically taken over in flat top guitars, and with tremendous success. We
believe the archtop world is ready for it too, and frankly, we think you'll agree.
Our price, including deluxe gigbag, FREE C.B.I. cable and Planet Waves polish cloth is
SOLD.
