Matt is a self-taught luthier whose instruments are attracting the attention of many of today's top players and builders.

The understated, classic designs reflect Matt's desire to create flawlessly executed instruments of striking beauty, while not pulling his attention away from what it's really all about, making instruments that project as much resonating tone as possible, right across the frequency spectrum, and making every instrument a player's dream.

All Mustapick guitars are lavishly appointed with carefully chosen wood bindings and trim, polished bone nut and saddle, bound fingerboard, and ebony bridge pins. Each and every Mustapick instrument features the finest woods. Matt currently builds these models: Grand Concert, Deep Baritone, and Concert Nylon string guitar.

• Mustapick GC cutaway: What a stunning guitar! Bubbly Sapele back and sides with a creamy European Spruce top. Soft cutaway. Figured CocoBolo fretboard that measures 1 3/4" at the nut. Really outrageous CocoBolo headstock faceplate! CocoBolo binding and bridge as well (2 1/4" saddle). Beautiful Lacewood rosette. Gold Gotoh mini 510 tuning machines. 25.5" scale length. Elegant blue purfling surrounds the top and a finer version adorns the back and sides. CocoBolo back center strip, heelcap and tail wedge. Very HUGE, open sound with Lots of presence. Sold. Front... • Mustapick GC: Flamboyant and Rare, Bloodwood back and sides make this one very distinctive guitar. A fine Engelmann spruce top has a gorgeous Koa rosette in the center. The body and fretboard are also bound in koa. Koa front & back headstock plates, heelcap and back center strip as well. The ebony fretboard measures 1 3/4" at the nut. The bridge is ebony with ebony pins/abalone dots. Chrome Gotoh 510 mini tuners with genuine ebony tuner buttons. The sound is sensational. This guitar just rings and rings. • Mustapick Deep Baritone: Magnificent! Matt's baritone has a slightly longer scale than most, but is easy to play! Indian Rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top. Curly Koa binding, back strip and heelcap. Fancy Sycamore (looks like Lacewood) rosette and headstock faceplate. 28.9" scale length. Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Currently strung with 70, 56, 45, 35, 26, 17 gauge strings (nano PB's). Some specs -- Lower bout: 15.8", Upper bout: 12", Depth at the heel: 4", Depth at tailblock 4.625". Chrome Gotoh 510 super tuners. 1 13/16" nut with 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. Lively and rich sounding. Case included in our price of SOLD. Front... Closer... Back... Headstock...
