Canadian Luthier Ted Thompson builds one of the best values in the handmade acoustic guitar market today. Ted has been crafting acoustics since 1979, and offers a lifetime warranty against faulty materials or workmanship to the original owner. Standard features on Ted's guitars include all solid woods, Mahogany or East Indian Rosewood for back and sides. Sitka Spruce tops. Ebony fingerboards and bridges. Mahogany necks. Indian Rosewood back and sides with a Sitka top full of cross-silking. Lots of "flame" in the Ebony fretboard that sports abalone position dot markers. 1 3/4" nut width. Gold Sperzel tuners with Ebony buttons. Abalone rosette with multiple purfling lines that match the top, back and sides purflings. Curly Maple body & fingerboard binding. 1/2 moon side neck markers in abalone. Clear pickguard. 14 frets to the body. The lower bout is 15 5/8"; the upper bout is 11 7/8".
