McAlister Guitar: Brazilian Rosewood 000-45
Please Call to Inquire
McAlister, 2007 used 000-45 Brazilian Near Mint. What an outstanding instrument. This is old-growth, quartersawn Brazilian rosewood of the brick red variety with plenty of spider-webbing. It just doesn't get any better than this. Mastergrade Adirondack spruce top. Pretty much a Martin 000-45 replica in everyway. This guitar has the highest grade abalone all around the top, and adjacent to the binding on each side as well as around the back. Also, around the fingerboard perimeter. The rosette is abalone too. And, in keeping with the 45 style ~ the heel end grafts have abalone purfling as does the tail endgraft. The ebony fretboard has the long pattern of "45" pattern inlays. The headstock is the traditional flower pot inlay. The slotted headstock is double bound. The tuning machines are engraved Waverlies with ivoroid buttons. Ebony, pyramid bridge with vintage "through" saddle. Speaking of the saddle, did we mention the FI package? i.e. Highest grade fossilized Ivory nut, saddle and bridge pins.
