Standard features include hand chosen, master-grade tops of Cedar of Sitka Spruce. The 1 3/4" neck is constructed of Mahogany crowned with an ebony faceplate on the headstock. Stylish gold or violet chrome Super-Tuners are utilized. The fretboard, bridge, and bridge pins are ebony. The body is bound with CocoBolo and CocoBolo adorns the heelcap as well. Maple or Ebony are other binding choices at no additional charge. Kevin uses genuine bone nut and saddles, and an adjustable truss rod. His Mission guitars are 15.25" at the lower bout and 4.62" deep. The scale lenth is 25.70".

Kevin has several models. The Mission Grand Concert, The Abbey Parlour, the Nightingale Soloist, the Cathedral Grand Fingerstyle and a 12 string.

The inlays are a cool pattern by Harvey Ellis, unique to this guitar, no other Ryan has them. Blue Paua top purfling. MOP headstock logo. The truss rod cover has laser cut SS for signature and is outlined with micropearl and has a fancy, arts & crafts MOP inlay. Micropearl headstock purfling. Black violet chrome Gotoh tuning machines with embossed R on the back. Ebonoid tuner buttons. Ebony fretboard that is bound in ebony. This guitar features the very best Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with the Very Best Swiss Spruce top. Kevin uses Brazilian from his stash that he has been saving for many years for these special guitars. It is extremely rare and represents the finest color, figure and grain. Another feature is the Florentine(sharp) cutaway. This guitar has a Macassar Ebony BEVEL and binding scheme. Also, Kevin's new micro-pearl blue paua headstock and fingerboard trim. MicroPearl trim is essentially a crisp line of abalone purfling around the headstock and fretboard edges but with an even smaller line of genuine Mother-of-Pearl framing the abalone. When you want the very best from Kevin, this is what you get. More Blue paua ~ the rosette, top purfling, headstock logo, back center strip and Side purflings as well. The Ebony fretboard is bound in Ebony and has the Signature Series Fretboard Termination that echoes the bridge and headstock motif. Small, 12th fret paua inlay. 1 3/4" nut. 25.7" scale length. Ryan Cathedral: When Kevin developed his Cathedral model, he broke new ground. There really is no other instrument out there today that replicates its sound. This model is truly in a class all its own! Our newest Cathedral has "ever more hard to get" African Blackwood back and sides with a Mastergrade Sitka spruce top. Florentine (sharp) cutaway.
