The sound is explosive, yet composed

This guitar is equipped with Stephen's proprietary pickup that sounds exactly like the guitar! Our last recording is of the guitar plugged in. It consists of 5 piezo crystals laminated under pressure between two strips of Maple. This is then hot hide glued to the bridge plate. It’s quite microphonic and three dimensional, more like a microphone than a typical piezo pickup

I developed my OM with insights I’ve gained over 25 years of building Archtop and Classical guitars.

The design is my own, a sublime blend of grace and power with the tone and volume to fully engage you and your audience. Of course, the materials and craftsmanship rise above, well aged loft dried tone woods, all hide glue construction, planed joints and premium bone or estate ivory fittings; but the feel of the guitar when played is what will fully captivate you: allowing your musical motifs to flow freely.
