Benedetto La Venezia Archtop by Bob Benedetto(2010)-SOLD
Benedetto La Venezia is considered by many to be Bob Benedetto's pinnacle of design both for its elegance and extraordinary voice. The 17" x 3" body's violin-like sans binding construction using hand-carved select European spruce top and maple and sides produces loud, lush, projective and totally balanced acoustic warmth that can cut through a big band. The 1 3/4" nut and the 25" scale is the holy grail of archtops, and the traditional violin-style tailpiece and endpin and floating ebony bridge, finger rest, fingerboard, headstock face, tuning buttons and volume control make the entire instrument both a work of art and acoustic powerhouse. Only 17 of these hand-made guitars have been produced over the last 12 years.

The La Venezia represents the pinnacle of pure acoustic archtop design, materials and craftsmanship—and is a culmination and celebration of Robert Benedetto’s experience as both a guitar and violin maker. Every aspect of this guitar has been designed, built and tuned to present the premium tonal palette for the most discriminating player. From its hand–selected European cello woods, ebony cello–style tailpiece, and finely carved re–curve in the top and back, to its aesthetically classic design—void of binding and inlays—La Venezia’s beauty is unparalleled.
