  • An anecdote from the owner, in his own words regarding this guitar: "P.S. I spent a full day with Bill picking out the woods for this guitar. When I selected the piece of Brazilian Rosewood that I wanted, he got a funny look on his face. When I inquired what was up with that, he turned the piece over to reveal that on the back it said "Tippin Only" (a piece he was reserving for himself). I called "BS" on him and guessed that all the woods in the pile were marked that way. I was wrong -- I had picked out the only one, but I talked him into letting me have it. Then the exact same thing happened with the Spruce for the top! Not only was the "tap tone" of the Spruce magnificent, but it is fine-looking besides. Lot of memories in this fine guitar; hard to part with."
